Ymir, B.C. 1-250-358-7277 Email Terrain at the Ymir Yurts The Yurt locations share very similair terrain and are within a day's tour apart. In the photo below Yurtopia is on the left and Qua on the right behind the peaks with a lot of terrain behind and hidden below the photo. The terrain in the area is compact drainages with lots of different aspects in each bowl. Most of the peaks are ski ascents with some 2,000 ft+ runs in open bowls, snaking through gladed trees and steep chutes. This is backcountry powder skiing at its most reliable and finest! We operate in conjunction with Wildhorse Catskiing. The terrain is completely seperate but it is ideally situated to do a day of snowcat skiing on your way in or out.
