Snowcat/Snowmobile Access We snowmobile from Ymir to Wildhorse Pass. Qua Yurt gets dropped off on Wildhorse Ridge for a ski descent to the North Clearcut. Follow the Qua Pass trail up for Qua. Backpacks are dropped by snowmobile or snowcat just below Qua Pass as marked on map. Yurtopia snowcat transport from Wildhorse Pass to Yurt. Wildhorse Cabin is right where it says Wildhorse Ridge on the map. Exit is by a combination of snowmobiles and/or snowcat and ski touring. Qua Yurt Typically from Qua we will ski Upper Clearwater, Qua Backside, Qua Lake, Hidden Qua, Qua Delights and possibly Long Qua. Yurtopia Yurt Typically from Yurtopia we will ski in the Playground, Inner Kututle ( Unbelievabowl ), Upper Qua and Upper Seeman. Wildhorse Cabin Available for self-guided trips early and late season as the cabin is in the upper portion of the Wildhorse Catskiing ski terrain. Available for guided ski touring, ski touring with snowmobile assisted skiing and catskiing. We ski the trees on Wildhorse Ridge, Wildhorse Bowl, Wildhorse Peak, Qua Peak and Clearwater drainage. Clearwater Yurt This is a Yurt in progress. Approved in our Crown Land Management Plan however not constructed at this time. Wildhorse CatSkiing Most of the skiing on Seeman ridge (South Seeman), lower slopes of Wildhorse Peak, and south of the map around Wildhorse.Pass.
